The NCCA is managed by an elected committee consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Editor, and Secretaries for: Membership, Autocross, Motorkhana, Racing and Rally. A list of Filled By committee members is included below along with a description of the role of their position. The roles provided are paraphrased from the Club Committee Handbook, which remains the authority for the functioning of the committee.

President
Filled By: Cary Seabrook
Role: The role of the President is to ensure proper functioning of the Club and its committee.
Some duties include:  
  • prepare agendas and chair all meetings;
  • arrange the trophies and guest speakers for the annual presentation;
  • attend as many Club functions, activities and events as possible;
  • be completely familiar with the Constitution and general Club policy;
  • prepare the Presidents Annual Report for the June Committee Meeting;
  • and prepare a monthly reports.

Vice President
Filled By: VACANT
Role: The role of the Vice President is to stand in for the president in absentia.
Some duties include:

  • chair meetings of the Club when President is absent;
  • maintain a forward planning calendar;
  • manage nominations for Committee elections;
  • manage nominations and voting for the Clubman and Clubwoman awards;
  • arrange entertainment for the Monthly General Meeting;
  • arrange special effort for each monthly meeting;
  • oversee (not necessarily arrange), the social activities of the Club;
  • prepare and submit an Annual Report for the June Committee Meeting; and
  • maintain points score for the Clubman and Clubwoman awards.

Secretary
Filled By:
Rhiannon Philpot Hale
Role: The role of the Secretary is to maintain and manage development of all club records.
Some duties include

  • maintain minutes of all proceedings at meetings;
  • clear the Club's mail box.
  • receive and attend to correspondence;
  • responsibility for all matters associated with the Club's affiliation and association with CAMS;
  • keep, record and maintain the Club's files; and
  • prepare an annual report for compilation by the June Committee meeting.

Editor
Filled By: VACANT
Role: The role of the Editor is to coordinate the production of the monthly magazine and annual reports.
Some duties include: 

  • manage the publication of the Club magazine; 
  • promote submissions of articles from members or other persons as appropriate; 
  • manage submission of reports from Committee members; 
  • edit all material for the magazine; 
  • arrange typing of all material; 
  • arrange printing, compilation, addressing and mailing of magazine; 
  • manage advertising in the magazine; 
  • maintain files on activities; 
  • maintain a current mailing list including members, advertisers, clubs and organisations as appropriate; 
  • arrange the publication of the January Newsletter, if required; 
  • maintain a magazine archive (one copy of every magazine and newsletter for permanent record); 
  • maintain club photocopier and pc; 
  • place committee nomination forms in the June and July magazines; and 
  • organize the Annual Report for distribution at the Annual General meeting.

Treasurer
Filled By: Gordon Ledwidge
Role: The role of the Treasurer is to oversee and manage all Club finances.
Some duties include: 

  • management of all monies received and paid out by the Club; 
  • generate monthly financial reports; 
  • preparation and auditing of annual financial statement within one week of the July Committee meeting; 
  • management, maintenance, insurance and storage of Club equipment; 
  • review of Budget/Balance sheets submitted by event organizers and reporting on such to the Committee; 
  • advisor to the Committee on the Club's financial position; and
  • Proper allocation of Club funds.

Membership Secretary
Filled By: Aiden Peart (Phone: 0434995680)
Role: The role of the Membership Secretary is to manage the club memberships.
Some duties include: 

  • correspond with prospective new members; 
  • enrol new members and collect the fees; 
  • report on progress of membership renewals; 
  • maintain a current membership list; 
  • supply Editor with mailing labels for the magazine; 
  • assist Secretary as required; 
  • take minutes of meetings if Secretary is absent; and
  • prepare an annual report including a graph of membership numbers for the June committee meeting.

Autocross Secretary

Role: The role of the Autocross Secretary is to manage the Clubs involvement with Autocross events.
Some duties include: 

  • liaise with autocross directors of other clubs closely associated with NCCA; 
  • maintain autocross files; 
  • formulate club autocross championship; 
  • prepare a monthly autocross report; 
  • assist event directors as required; 
  • maintain a record of Club championship point scores; 
  • prepare an annual autocross report for the June Committee meeting; 
  • provide the Vice President with dates of relevant events for inclusion in the master calendar; 
  • forward supplementary regulations for open events to those members on the mailing list; and 
  • represent the Club at VCAS meetings and report such meetings to the Committee.

Motorkhana Secretary
Filled By: Lucas Thorpe
Role: The role of the Motorkhana Secretary is to manage the Clubs involvement with Motorkhana events.
Some duties include: 

  • liaise with Motorkhana Secretaries of other clubs closely associated with NCCA; 
  • maintain Motorkhana files; 
  • formulate the Club Motorkhana Championship; 
  • prepare a monthly Motorkhana report; 
  • represent the Club at the Group 5 meetings; 
  • assist and oversee Directors of NCCA events as required; 
  • maintain a record of Club Championship point scores; 
  • prepare an annual Motorkhana report for the June Committee meeting; 
  • provide the Vice President with dates of relevant events for inclusion in the master calendar; 
  • maintain a Motorkhana mailing list if considered appropriate; and 
  • forward supplementary regulations of each championship event to those members on the mailing list.

Racing Secretary

Callum Wright
Role: The role of the Racing Secretary is to manage the Clubs involvement with racing events.
Some duties include:

  • liaise with Racing Directors of other clubs closely associated with NCCA; 
  • maintain racing files; 
  • formulate the Club Sprint, Racing and Hillclimb championships; 
  • prepare a monthly racing report; 
  • maintain a record of the point scores for the championships; 
  • prepare an annual racing report for the June Committee meeting; 
  • provide the Vice President with dates of relevant events for inclusion in the master calendar; 
  • maintain mailing lists for sprints, racing and hillclimbs; 
  • forward supplementary regulation for championship events to those on the mailing lists; and 
  • assist and oversee directors of NCCA events as required.

Rally Secretary
Filled By: Stuart Stevenson
Role: The role of the Rally Secretary is to manage the Clubs involvement with rallying events.
Some duties include: 

  • liaise with Rally Secretaries of other clubs closely associated with NCCA; 
  • maintain rally files; 
  • formulate the Club Rally Championship; 
  • prepare a monthly Rally report; 
  • represent the Club at the VCRS meetings; 
  • assist and oversee Directors of NCCA events as required; 
  • maintain a record of Club Championship point scores; 
  • prepare an annual rally report for the June Committee meeting; 
  • provide the Vice President with dates of relevant events for inclusion in the master calendar; 
  • maintain a rally mailing list if considered appropriate; and 
  • forward supplementary regulations of each championship event to those members on the mailing list.
